Each day in the workplace, we dental healthcare providers place ourselves at risk of catching infection and passing it on to others. To safeguard our health and the health of others, it was necessary to come up with guidelines on preventing infection within and outside the clinic. This manuscript is dedicated to all the dental professionals in the country, as a tangible memorabilia of our undying love to our mother organization, the Philippine Dental Association.
